How fascinating… I’m mesmerized by the trees in the distance - their growth and then disappearance, showing how much time has elapsed.
That is what I was looking at, too! Sad to see all the trees gone in the last photograph!
I know - you wonder what happened… were they cleared to make room for development? Did they fall prey to disease?
