A nice reminder that lenses are circular whereas most photographs, like most paintings, are rectilinear. Imagine the history of photography as a series of circular images.

The 'easily distracted scatterbrain' aspect of this article is me all over. Those circular images are rather appealing, particularly the 'Overhanging Trees' on Kodak Diagnostic film.

This is such a lovely thing to see. I leafed through an old album of send-away, very early Kodak prints recently. All round. It is a very nice look and feel. Thank you for the reminder. Enjoy your outing and do show us the results!
