I find that carrying a camera everywhere alters the way I look at things, even if I choose not to make pictures. Some lovely smiles in the mind here that remind me mostly of Tony Ray-Jones.
Excellent array of images that feel like life itself. Very natural, gentle and effortless. (I mean, I don’t feel like your forcing it to be a good image ). I don’t see the edge the frame because I’m drawn into the scene.
So many photos! I love the boy at the train and the one with ship( reminds me Chris Killip)
How do you scan your prints If I understood correctly?
exactly my thoughts
Thank you, that's quite a compliment. I scan 10x8 darkroom prints on a flatbed scanner.
You provide a perfect validation for all of us camera and photography freaks.

A nice compliment, thank you.
Wonderful post and lively photos. Definitely worth to have your camera with you all the times.
Great photos. Although I carry a camera with me most of the times, such instances appear to elude me when I do, and occur in abundance when I don't 😆
Haha, exactly!
Really enjoyed these images and your words … some really nice work .. and again underling the importance of making images …
Great images and a reminder always to take a camera with film in it, at all times.
Pentax ME Super. My first (and most loved) camera. Thank you for sharing your work. Some great gets.

Great stuff. Did you pose your dog or did he (I assume given the bollocks) choose the spot?
Thank you. I really can't remember if I asked the dog to pose, it was 25 years ago.
Some wonderful photographs here, Sandy. Many thanks
Thanks Tony.
I loved that each photo has a story—whether one created by you or just as-is by itself. 👏🏽
Beautiful work, Andrew. I am a woman of many compact cameras who absolutely agreed.
Thank you Jill.
These catch, as catch, can, shots are all enhanced greatly by your amazing dark printing skills.
Thanks Troy.
Fantastic. Chips eating themselves. Priceless
If you're ever worried about wasting a frame, it's worth remembering that you miss 100% of the shots you don't take
